Our Motivation: Make Money AND Make a Difference

It often seems that high-powered and generously compensated jobs are poles apart from those of a more socially responsible and ethically-motivated flavour. And whether it be a term of reflection or a fleeting thought in the library, you may have already felt the looming decision that faces all students… ‘make money’ or ‘make a difference’.

The reality however is that such a stark decision is not required and perhaps even a little dramatic!

We strongly believe that earning money and having a meaningful career are not mutually exclusive concepts and the Careers Stream is focused to helping you find the ideal job that caters to both your skills and appetite for social responsibility.

Beyond Profit* aims to shine a light on less publicised careers like social enterprise and NGO work, but will also show how you can have a positive impact even if you head into more mainstream and corporate areas typical of “the City”.
