Alex Handy - President
Alex is in his final year at Robinson studying MST. He is the founder and President of Beyond Profit and his primary role is to coordinate the overall strategy of the society and cement its continued growth.
He is also the co-founder of the African Innovation Prize, a business plan competition for Rwandan students in Kigali.

Hugo Hickson - Vice President
Hugo is a finalist at Gonville and Caius where he reads Philosophy. He is the Vice-President of Beyond Profit and leads the 'careers' side of the society. Central to his role is management of events and fostering relations with external partners.

Andy Aitken - IT Officer
Andy is a finalist reading Land Economy at Robinson College. He is the IT officer for beyond profit responsible for maintaining the website and online content. He is interested in the effects that ongoing sustainability will have on the business world and how these issues can be incorporated into firms.

Megan McLaren - Marketing Officer
Megan is in her first year at Girton reading Classics. She is the Marketing Officer for Beyond Profit, thinking of interesting ways to use the website, blog, newsletter and social media and making sure Beyond Profit’s overall message is clear and incisive.
She also has the role of Green Officer on the committee, ensuring that any material output from Beyond Profit is done in the most environmentally friendly or most ethical way as is feasible.
She is particularly concerned about the environment and having her roots in the Middle East and Africa is passionate about their development and hopes to give a lot of time to the people there in the future.

Lorenzo Casullo - Enterprise Officer
Lorenzo is in his final year at Pembroke studying Land Economy. He leads the Enterprise stream of Beyond Profit, organising events that bring business leaders and students together to learn about the future of enterpreneurship.
He is interested in social and environmental sustainability, having worked with UN agencies on climate change issues, and on how the private sector can integrate this concept in its strategies.

James Edmunds - Design Officer
James is a finalist at Gonville and Caius where he reads Architecture. He is the Design Officer of Beyond Profit and handles all the visual and aesthetic elements for Beyond Profit.

Julien Eaton - Media Officer
Julien is a finalist studying Land Economy at Robinson College. He is the Media Officer for Beyond Profit, responsible for publicising of the society, ensuring active and accurate media coverage, and fostering a healthy relationship with the local media. He is interested in the relatively recent social and environmental sustainability framework that businesses should adapt to, which he sees not as a constraint but an opportunity.
He has worked on both sides of the problem, with then Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change Ed Miliband on the administrative side, and green property developers Vizzion-Europe on the private side.

Alex is in his final year at Gonville & Caius where he is reading Land Economy. As Finance Innovation Officer, he is responsible for developing innovative ways of providing income for the society and research into sustainable financing models that Beyond Profit can adopt.
Artur Brus - Junior Treasurer
Artur is a finalist reading Politics at St Catharine's College. He is the Financial Manager of Beyond Profit and, having interned for financial institutions, manages our financial system

Ignacio Pérez Hallerbach - Enterprise Network Officer
Ignacio is an MPhil student at Darwin reading Innovation, Strategy and Organisation. As the Enterprise Network Officer, he is responsible for building and running a hub where social entrepreneurs from and beyond Cambridge can connect and receive essential support.
Before coming to Cambridge, he worked in strategy consulting and is now interested in doing research in the field of ICT and social entrepreneurship.

Vincent Lauenstein - General Committee
Vincent is a graduate student in Management at the Judge Business School. As Strategic Finance Officer he is developing long-term solutions for a sound financial basis of Beyond Profit and supporting the team in fundraising efforts.
Having worked in Social Entrepreneurship and SRI before, he is enthusiastic about exploring the financial side of hybrid social enterprises.

Sarah Teacher - Rwanda Entrepreneurship Week
Sarah is currently at Clare College, Cambridge taking an MPhil in Development Studies. Prior to her studies, she was Director for Next Generation Philanthropy at the Institute for Philanthropy, working to promote effective giving in the UK and internationally.
Whilst at the Institute for Philanthropy Sarah led Next Generation Philanthropy, a training programme in strategic philanthropy for young people aged 18-30; and programmed London and developing world activities for The Philanthropy Workshop, the world's leading donor education programme. She also wrote three research papers into the role of giving; in climate change; in microfinance; and a survey of European philanthropy with a particular focus on funding in Turkey, Germany, Italy, Russia and the UK.
She graduated from Lady Margaret Hall College, Oxford, in 2005 with a first-class degree in Modern History. She is a Trustee of Avonbrook Projects Abroad, and a member of both the Venture Partnership Foundation and The Funding Network.

Linda Ma - Careers Stream Officer
Linda is an Mphil student in Newnham College doing Development Studies. She's responsible for initiating career stream networking events, and updating beyond profit members on related career opportunity information and resources. She did Economics as an undergrad. Having interned in businesses and NGOs, she is now keen to explore possible career paths that help create business solutions to social causes.

Milana Ruffin - General Committee
Milana is reading International Relations (MPhil) at Lucy Cavendish College. She is the Finance Innovation Officer for Beyond Profit responsible for developing financially sustainable solutions for Beyond Profit and supporting the team in fundraising efforts with Trusts and Foundations.
Before coming to Cambridge, she has been interning with a social business consultancy and involved in microfinance research. She is interested in the potential of social businesses to scale up their operations to compete in the business world.
